The Health Economics, Policy and Innovation Institute (HEPII) works on impactful research in health economics and policy and trains future leaders in the field. It brings together experts from disciplines such as medicine, economics, public health or technology to address complex societal challenges and find sustainable solutions.

The Institute was founded in 2023 and focuses on topics that include ageing populations, rising healthcare costs and emerging treatments. It aims to become a leading centre for health economics, health policy and innovation in Central Europe.

The recent "Stáří spojuje 2023 - Tvořím tedy jsem" conference not only enriched us professionally, but also inspired us. The event provided a forum for sharing new ideas, research findings and wide-ranging discussions on a topic that unites us all: population ageing and the challenges and opportunities it presents. The conference reflected on topics such as creating a friendly environment for the elderly, caring for an ageing population and harnessing the potential of the elderly in society. Discussions focused on intergenerational cooperation, inclusive care and tackling dementia.
