The Ministry of Health is finalising a proposal to introduce bonuses for citizens who take care of their health. But critics warn that the proposal could exacerbate inequalities in access to medical care and disadvantage the poorest patients. Two experts from the HEPII Institute – Dominika Tóthová and Marek Navrátil – will spend the autumn of 2024 on a research visit and internship in Barcelona, where they will focus on their specializations and establish new collaborations.
Jakub Hlávka and Dagmar Špalková visited universities in Amsterdam and Stockholm where applied health economics is taught. The aim was to discuss the new Applied Health Economics (AHE) program at MUNI and to share lessons learned from leading study programs in the field.
