First microcertificate graduates
It was an honour to congratulate our first microcertificate graduates.
They completed two courses: Introduction to Health Economics and Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Healthcare.
Interview with Jan Konvalinka, Director of the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOCB), on why the Czech Republic is lagging behind other European countries in the transfer of scientific knowledge into practice (HN, 8.2. 2024) .
What are the solutions and what needs to be done? One of the key prerequisites is interdisciplinary cooperation. Just a few weeks ago, the IOCHB signed a memorandum on the establishment of a Platform for Biomedical and Economic Research. A project of coordinated cooperation between experts from various fields of natural and social sciences has been established, in which the team of Professor Jakub Hlávka from Masaryk University, where the field of health economics is currently being developed, is actively participating.
