HEPII has been awarded Horizon Europe funding as part of the In-Touch study, an international collaborative project. A research consortium has received a research grant amounting to €7.5m, which will support a new randomized control trial (RCT) and its evaluation between 2024-2028. The intended intervention may have a significant benefit to the quality of life of patients and their caregivers. The project lead at ECON MUNI is Jakub Hlávka.
Two experts from the HEPII Institute – Dominika Tóthová and Marek Navrátil – will spend the autumn of 2024 on a research visit and internship in Barcelona, where they will focus on their specializations and establish new collaborations.
Jakub Hlávka and Dagmar Špalková visited universities in Amsterdam and Stockholm where applied health economics is taught. The aim was to discuss the new Applied Health Economics (AHE) program at MUNI and to share lessons learned from leading study programs in the field.
