Ronald Sturm: Data offers a lot of information, but access is difficult
Professor Roland Sturm from the RAND School of Public Policy (Los Angeles, USA) gave a lecture on April 29 as part of the MUNI Seminar Series titled Advances in Healthcare Modeling: Microsimulation as a Tool for Applied Research. In his talk, he focused on the development of dynamic microsimulation in the social sciences, its benefits, and its current applications in RAND research in areas such as aging, diabetes care, lifestyle, drug policy, and climate change.
