Scholarships for Applied Health Economics

We know that covering the costs of education may not be easy, especially if you are a fresh graduate or work in the public sector. That's why we offer the opportunity to cover a large part of your tuition costs with scholarships generously provided our partners. We are very grateful to them.

What are your options?

Krsek Foundation AHE Scholarship

Scholarship for several students at 75% of tuition fees for two years. In addition to fulfilling the entry requirements, the recipient is required to submit an essay once a year on the course of study, how it fulfills his or her vision and what the student's idea of his or her future career path is.

Jan Barta AHE Scholarship

Jan Barta supports organisations and initiatives that seek to modernise government, improve the functioning of the state and therefore increase people's trust in democratic institutions.

In order for positive changes to take place in the public administration, including in the area of healthcare, we need educated professionals to work in public institutions. Jan Barta is offering scholarships for several students amounting to 80% of the tuition fee for two years. Interested students need to demonstrate a commitment to work in the public sector for at least two years after graduation from AHE.

Eligible employers include:

  • state and local government institutions
  • non-profit organisations (such as patient organisations and other associations) working in the field of public health
  • non-profit outpatient healthcare providers,
  • inpatient healthcare providers who provide healthcare services that are predominantly covered by public health insurance

The commitment to work for a public health organization is to be fulfilled during the three years following graduation from AHE (or completion of subsequent studies). Upon accepting the scholarship, the student makes a sworn statement that if he/she fails to meet these conditions, he/she will donate the amount of the scholarship to an academic institution and/or a non-profit organization dedicated to public health in the Czechia.

Nadácia Zrak

A scholarship for at least one student at 75% of tuition fees for two years is offered for motivated students in the AHE programme. In addition to meeting the admissions criteria, the recipient is required to submit an essay once a year on the course of his or her studies to discuss how they are progressing in their studies in next career steps. Other requirements may be added later.
